Allocate Service Packages

You can allocate service packages to any organization.

    To Allocate Service Packages to an organization

Select the organization from the Organizations list page and click Allocate Service Package.

The Allocate Service Packages wizard appears. The wizard asks you to perform the following tasks:

Search and Select Service Packages
Mail Service Details

This panel appears if any newly selected service package contains mail service.

If a mail service was already allocated to the organization, this panel displays the existing mail service details for the organization. You can edit these details or leave them as they are.

Calendar Service Details

This panel appears if any newly selected service package contains Calendar service.

If a Calendar service was already allocated to the organization, this panel displays the existing Calendar service details for the organization. You can edit these details or leave them as they are.

Enter the Quantity of Service Packages to be Allocated to the organization.

Guidelines for Allocating Service Packages

You can choose any service packages available in the directory.

There are two types of service packages: those for users, those for groups.

The service packages allocated to the organization make up the pool from which service packages will be assigned to users and groups in the organization.

A service package must be allocated to the organization before it can be assigned to a user or group.

Each service package in the list displays

The service package name
The type of service: mail, Calendar, or both
Whether IMAP access is enabled or disabled.
